IHM held 3 information session across Australia to help students understand the course structure and requirements better. The info-sessions were spread over 2 days in every location. The info-session in Sydney was held on 21st and 22nd of January 2020 and there were 80 attendees. In Melbourne, it was conducted on the 23rd and 24th of January 2020 and this session was attended by more than 60 IHM students. The last session took place on the 11th of February 2020 in Perth, where 140 eager students of IHM attended the event.

Prof Catherine Turner, Dean, College of Nursing and Midwifery , A/Prof Maree Duddle – Nursing Chair, Assistant Dean – Academic Disciplines , A/Prof Mel Underwood, Assistant Dean – Learning Futures , Ms Jacqueline Diepenbroek, Ms Jolly Kazi (Student Support, Library Services) , Mr David Humphreys (Academic Language & Learning Success Program) , Ms Penny Sweeting and Ms Michele Darch, Mr Kabir Sattarshetty(Nursing Lecturers) were some of the guest speakers for the events.

These seminars have helped our students immensely and we hope to have more sessions for our students in the near future!
