EPIQ-RN Course Intakes FAQs

Update on EPIQ-RN Intakes

We recognise that a lot is going on in the world right now because of the COVID-19 pandemic. We thank you for your understanding and patience in waiting for EPIQ-RN program at the Institute of Health & Management (IHM).

We are delighted to inform you that, IHM is restarting its EPIQ-RN program with an option to study the theory component under a blended mode of delivery.

At this stage, the EPIQ-RN course will be available to the onshore students ( currently in Australia) as there are restrictions in place for international travel .

IHM has secured the seats for all international students who were offered a place before the restrictions were in place. If you have not been accommodated in the future intake, kindly send an email to enquiry@ihm.edu.au.

FAQs

Is the course available only for onshore students?

At this stage, the EPIQ-RN course will be available to the onshore students as there are restrictions in place for international travel. We will allocate seats and accommodate our offshore students in the future intakes, provided they meet our entry criteria, when the travel restrictions are lifted by the Federal Government.

The course is delivered through the blended mode of learning, where some modules of the theory component will be covered online and the remaining will be conducted face-to-face. It is mandatory for the students to be on campus for some of their theory components, assessments and tests.

Can off-shore students do this course online?

As there are International travel restrictions in place, we are offering the course to those who are currently in Australia (on-shore). However, we will allocate seats for overseas students provided they meet the entry requirements accordingly when the travel restrictions are lifted by the Federal Government.

Off-shore students will not be able to do this course online as the course is delivered through the blended mode of learning, where some modules of the theory component will be covered online and the remaining will be conducted face-to-face. It is mandatory for the students to be on campus for some of their theory components, assessments and tests.

As EPIQ-RN course comprises of 50% clinical placements and 50% theory component, the student has to be on-shore to complete the entire course.

What about students who were originally enrolled in intakes that were cancelled?

Onshore students who were originally supposed to start their classes earlier, will be accommodated in the earliest available intake provided they meet all the entry requirements. However, we will have to abide by the travel restrictions and directives laid out by both the State and the Federal Government bodies.

Offshore students who were originally supposed to start their classes earlier will be accommodated in the future intakes when the travel ban has been lifted by the Australian Federal Government, provided they meet all the entry requirements.

As there are International travel restrictions in place, we are offering the course to those who are currently in Australia (onshore). However, we will allocate seats for overseas students provided they meet the entry requirements accordingly when the travel restrictions are removed by the Federal Government.

Off-shore students will not be able to do this course online as the course is delivered through the blended mode of learning, where some modules of the theory component will be covered online and the remaining will be conducted face-to-face.
