Clinical Project – GCNCP3/PCPN3983

Introduction

This unit is designed to enhance students’ ability to integrate theory into work practice and heighten their levels of innovation, decision making and autonomy. It allows students to define and pursue unique clinical practice experiences. Such experiences will provide for synthesis and application of knowledge via observation of and participation in clinical activities. Emphasis is also placed on developing the students’ ability to define and engage in individualised learning via contractual arrangements under the mentorship and guidance of their lecturer.

Ever wanted to do something really unique and new in your place of clinical practice? Ever wanted to be an agent for change? This unit is your chance to do so, with guidance and support. The unit allows you to negotiate a project topic with your lecturer, then receive the guidance and support you need to plan and implement your chosen project.
